Dalcinex 300 mg Injection 2 ml – Overview
Dalcinex 300 mg Injection 2 ml is an antibiotic medicine used to treat serious bacterial infections. It is effective in managing infections such as pneumonia, empyema, lung abscesses, and various gynecological infections including endometritis, tubo-ovarian abscess, pelvic cellulitis, and postoperative vaginal cuff infections. It is also used in intra-abdominal infections, bloodstream infections (sepsis), and bone or joint infections.
The injection contains Clindamycin, which works by preventing bacteria from producing essential proteins needed for their growth. This action inhibits the reproduction of bacteria, helping to control and resolve infections caused by gram-positive and anaerobic bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Clostridium perfringens.
How It Works
Clindamycin, the active ingredient in Dalcinex, targets bacterial protein synthesis, effectively stopping bacteria from multiplying. This bacteriostatic action controls infections without directly killing the bacteria, making it suitable for treating specific bacterial strains that thrive in low-oxygen environments.

Management of gynecological infections like endometritis, tubo-ovarian abscess, and pelvic cellulitis.
