GEMFRAC 750 mcg/3 mL Injection (Pack of 3 Cartridges + 1 Reusable Pen) is an anabolic therapy used for the treatment of osteoporosis in adults who are at high risk of fractures. It contains Teriparatide, a synthetic form of human parathyroid hormone, which promotes new bone formation, improves bone density, and reduces the risk of spine and hip fractures. This formulation is especially beneficial for postmenopausal women, men with osteoporosis, and individuals undergoing long-term corticosteroid therapy. The product comes with three pre-filled cartridges and a reusable pen for easy and precise self-administration. The injection is given subcutaneously, preferably into the thigh or abdomen, once daily at the same time each day. Injection sites should be rotated to minimize skin irritation. Store the medicine in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C and do not freeze. Common side effects may include nausea, dizziness, joint pain, mild gastrointestinal discomfort, and redness or swelling at the injection site.
