ENZAR-10000 Overview

ENZAR-10000 is a pancreatic enzyme supplement used to replace missing digestive enzymes in patients whose pancreas does not produce enough of them.
It contains three important enzymes: lipase, amylase, and protease, which help digest fats, carbohydrates, and proteins respectively.
This medicine is commonly prescribed for conditions such as exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, chronic pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis, and after pancreatic surgery.

Composition and Strength

Each ENZAR-10000 capsule contains approximately:

Lipase – 10,000 IU
Amylase – 6,000 IU
Protease – 350 IU

How It Works

The enzymes provided in ENZAR-10000 mix with food and assist in breaking down fats, proteins, and carbohydrates into simpler forms that the body can easily absorb.
This helps reduce symptoms like fatty stools, bloating, gas, and malnutrition caused by poor digestion.

Uses

ENZAR-10000 is used to treat or manage:

Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI)
Chronic pancreatitis
Cystic fibrosis
Digestive issues after pancreatic surgery
Steatorrhea (fatty stools) caused by enzyme deficiency

Dosage and Administration

Take the capsule during or immediately after meals or snacks with sufficient water so the enzymes mix properly with food.
Do not crush or chew the capsule as this may damage the enzymes or irritate the mouth.
If swallowing is difficult, the capsule can be opened, and the granules can be mixed with a small amount of acidic soft food like apple sauce or yogurt and swallowed immediately without chewing.
The dose depends on the severity of the condition, fat content in the meal, and the doctor’s advice.

Precautions

Contraindications

Known allergy or hypersensitivity to pancreatin or any component of the capsule.
Gastrointestinal narrowing or obstruction where further fibrosis may cause worsening blockage.
