About Solvin LS Syrup
Solvin LS Syrup is a combination medicine used to treat cough associated with mucus (productive cough). Coughing — whether dry or productive — is the body’s natural reflex to clear irritants such as mucus, smoke, or allergens from the respiratory tract. While a dry cough is non-productive and causes throat irritation, a productive (wet) cough involves the expulsion of mucus or phlegm from the lungs and airways.
This syrup combines Levosalbutamol, Ambroxol, and Guaiphenesin, three active ingredients that work together to ease breathing, reduce congestion, and clear mucus effectively.
Levosalbutamol acts as a bronchodilator that relaxes the airway muscles and widens the bronchial passages, improving airflow.
Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that breaks down and loosens thick phlegm in the respiratory tract, making it easier to expel.
Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that increases the volume of respiratory fluids and decreases the stickiness of mucus, promoting effective clearance from the airways.
