Rabonik 20 Tablet 1*15

Rabonik 20 Tablet is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce stomach acid. It treats:

• Acidity

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD/acid reflux)

• Peptic ulcer disease

• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome

How It Works

• Reduces stomach acid, relieving heartburn, indigestion, and abdominal pain.

• Promotes healing of peptic ulcers and prevents complications from excessive acid secretion.

Dosage & Administration

• Take one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning.

• Swallow whole; do not chew, crush, or break.

• Take regularly as prescribed, even if symptoms improve.

Common Side Effects

• Headache, nausea, vomiting

• Abdominal pain, flatulence, diarrhea

• Dizziness, weakness

Serious Risks (Long-Term Use)

• Risk of bone fractures with prolonged use (>1 year)

• Low magnesium levels (hypomagnesemia) may occur after 3+ months

Precautions

• Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease, are taking HIV medicines, or have bone loss (osteoporosis)

• Avoid alcohol as it may worsen symptoms

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without doctor supervision

• May cause drowsiness or dizziness; avoid driving if affected

Missed Dose

• Take as soon as possible if missed

• If near the next dose, skip the missed dose; do not double the dose
