Levocet M Syrup – Allergy & Asthma Relief for Children

Uses:

• Treats allergic skin conditions (rash, itching, swelling)

• Relieves sneezing, runny nose, hay fever

• Helps with asthma and airway inflammation

How It Works:

• Contains Levocetirizine (blocks histamine → reduces sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes)

• Contains Montelukast (blocks leukotrienes → reduces airway and nasal swelling)

Dosage & Administration:

• Give at a fixed time, before or after food, as prescribed

• For asthma: evening or 2 hours before activity

• For allergies: morning or evening depending on symptoms; if both, prefer evening

• If vomited within 30 minutes, repeat dose; skip if next dose is due

• Shake well and measure with a cup; do not double doses

Side Effects:

• Usually mild and temporary: sleepiness, fatigue, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, dry mouth, increased liver enzymes, fever

Safety & Precautions:

• Caution in kidney disease; not recommended in severe cases

• Safe in mild liver disease; consult doctor in severe cases

• Complete the prescribed course to ensure full benefit

• Inform doctor about other medications and full medical history

Missed Dose:

• Give as soon as remembered unless it’s almost time for the next dose

• Do not double the dose
