Description

Metosartan LN 25 Tablet ER is a combination medicine used to manage uncontrolled high blood pressure (hypertension) when single or dual therapy is not effective. It helps relax blood vessels, reduce heart rate, and improve blood flow, thereby lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney complications.

It contains Telmisartan, Metoprolol, and Cilnidipine, which work together to control blood pressure through different mechanisms. Take this medicine with or after food at the same time every day for consistent effect. Continue taking it as prescribed, even if you feel well, as stopping suddenly may worsen your condition.

Common side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, taste changes, ankle swelling, flushing, weakness, and low blood pressure. To reduce ankle swelling, you can elevate your legs while sitting. Avoid potassium-rich foods or supplements unless advised by your doctor.

Avoid alcohol, as it may increase drowsiness or dizziness. Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for the next one, skip the missed dose — do not double up.
