Rivamer 1.5 Capsule is used to treat mild to moderate dementia associated with Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. It helps improve memory, awareness, and thinking ability in affected individuals by increasing the levels of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger essential for nerve signal transmission in the brain.

The medicine should be taken with or after food, preferably at the same time every day, as advised by your doctor. It may take a few weeks to notice improvement, so regular use is important. Do not stop taking it without medical guidance.

Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, indigestion, diarrhea, weakness, dizziness, headache, confusion, and weight loss. These effects usually subside as your body adjusts to the medicine.

Rivamer 1.5 Capsule should be used cautiously in patients with liver disease and can be used safely in those with kidney disorders. It may cause drowsiness or dizziness, so avoid driving if affected. Its use during pregnancy or breastfeeding should be under medical supervision only.

If a dose is missed, skip it and continue with the regular schedule—do not double the next dose.
