Ropark XL 2 Tablet is used to treat Parkinson’s disease and restless leg syndrome (RLS), conditions associated with low dopamine levels in the brain. It helps reduce tremors, stiffness, and uncontrolled movements, improving overall muscle control and mobility.
It should be taken orally, preferably with or after food to avoid nausea, and at the same time each day to maintain steady drug levels. Do not skip doses or stop taking the medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor, as it may cause adverse effects.
Common side effects include dizziness, sleepiness, nausea, vomiting, headache, confusion, hallucinations, swelling, weakness, and indigestion. It may cause a sudden drop in blood pressure when changing positions, so rise slowly from sitting or lying down. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
Ropark XL 2 Tablet should be used cautiously in patients with liver or kidney disease. It may be unsafe during breastfeeding and should only be used during pregnancy if clearly needed and prescribed by a doctor.
If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
