Aceclo Plus Tablet

Overview
Aceclo Plus Tablet is prescribed for managing different kinds of pain and inflammation. It provides relief in joint problems like osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, spinal pain related to ankylosing spondylitis, ear–nose–throat swelling, backache, toothache, abdominal pain, menstrual cramps, and other gynecological discomforts.

When Not to Use
This medicine should be avoided if you are allergic to aceclofenac, paracetamol, or any of the ingredients in the formulation. People with a history of asthma, swelling, or rashes after taking aspirin, ibuprofen, or other NSAIDs should not use it. It is also not suitable for those who have had stomach ulcers, internal bleeding, severe kidney or liver disease, or serious heart problems like uncontrolled high blood pressure or heart failure. It must not be taken during pregnancy, especially in the last trimester.

Possible Side Effects
Some users may experience stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, constipation, diarrhea, or general discomfort. If these effects persist or worsen, a doctor should be informed.

Precautions to Consider
During pregnancy, this tablet is considered unsafe as it may affect the baby’s heart development or delay labor. It is not recommended while breastfeeding because safety data is limited. Avoid driving or using heavy machinery if you feel dizzy after taking the medicine. Alcohol consumption should also be avoided since it can increase the risk of liver damage.

Other Important Warnings
Doctors need to be informed if you have kidney or liver disease, gastrointestinal conditions such as Crohn’s disease or ulcers, asthma, autoimmune problems like lupus, bleeding disorders, or a history of severe skin reactions. Older patients and those on diuretics should be monitored closely because of the risk of kidney issues. Regular checkups may be required.

How to Take
Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not chew or break it. It can be taken with meals or shortly after food to minimize stomach irritation. Always follow the dosage instructions given by your physician.

Keep the tablets in a dry, cool place, away from light and moisture. Store out of reach of children and pets.

Helpful Tips
The tablet is meant for short-term use. Do not exceed the prescribed dose, as doing so may harm the liver or trigger allergic reactions. Discontinue use immediately if you notice rashes, swelling in the lips or mouth, or signs of an allergic reaction.

Overdose and Missed Dose
Taking too much can cause nausea, stomach upset, headache, dizziness, low blood pressure, seizures, or difficulty in breathing. In such cases, seek emergency medical attention. If you miss a dose, take it when remembered, but skip it if the next dose is due soon. Do not double up to make up for a missed dose.

Aceclo Plus Tablet reduces the production of prostaglandins, natural chemicals that trigger pain, swelling, and fever. By blocking these substances, it decreases inflammation and improves mobility of joints. It also helps protect cartilage and controls fever.

Drug and Food Interactions
This medicine may interact with several other drugs including antihypertensives, diuretics, lithium, methotrexate, ciclosporin, tacrolimus, steroids, anticoagulants like warfarin, certain antibiotics such as quinolones, antiretrovirals, medicines for seizures, gout medications, TB drugs, and aspirin. Combining it with alcohol increases the risk of liver injury. Taking the medicine with meals can help prevent nausea or stomach upset.
