Acivir Cream is used for the treatment of viral skin infections, particularly herpes simplex virus (cold sores, fever blisters) and shingles (herpes zoster). It helps to reduce viral activity, relieve symptoms like itching, burning, and pain, and promotes faster healing of the affected skin.

Composition:

Active Ingredient: Acyclovir 5% w/w

Acyclovir is an antiviral agent that inhibits the replication of herpes viruses, helping to control the infection.

How to Use:

Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area 3–5 times daily, or as directed by your doctor.

Wash your hands before and after applying.

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and open wounds unless prescribed for those areas.
