Actibile 75 Tablet is a medicine used to dissolve gallstones and to prevent their re-formation. Gallstones are often formed due to excess cholesterol, and this tablet works by breaking down that cholesterol which has hardened into stones inside the gallbladder. It is also prescribed for a long-term liver disorder called primary biliary cirrhosis, where it helps improve liver function and reduce complications.

The tablet should be taken whole after food, along with water or milk, as directed by the doctor. The length of treatment can extend for several months or more, depending on the patient’s condition. Even if symptoms appear to improve, it is important to continue the medication for the complete duration advised.

Some people using this medicine may experience mild problems like stomach pain, loose motions, hair thinning, itching, skin rashes, or nausea. These effects are usually temporary and settle on their own. If they become bothersome or persistent, medical advice is recommended.
