Adilan SR Tablet contains isoxsuprine, a vasodilator and uterine relaxant. It is used primarily to treat and prevent conditions related to poor blood circulation, such as peripheral vascular diseases, cerebral vascular insufficiency, Raynaud’s phenomenon, arteriosclerosis obliterans, and thromboangiitis obliterans (Buerger’s disease). Adilan SR works by relaxing and widening blood vessels and smooth muscles, which improves blood flow to muscles, organs, and extremities like fingers and toes.

It is also used to prevent and manage premature labor by relaxing uterine muscles and reducing contractions, helping to delay early delivery.

Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, weakness, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, and low blood pressure. Patients should avoid sudden changes in posture to prevent dizziness and should consult their doctor before use, especially if they have heart conditions or bleeding disorders.
