This medicine should be used along with a proper diet, salt restriction, and regular exercise for best results. It may be taken with or without food, preferably in the morning, to avoid frequent urination at night. This medicine may cause dehydration, so it is better to take plenty of fluids. Inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst or muscle weakness. Some patients may develop swelling of the ankle as a side effect.

How Amlosafe H Tablet works
Amlosafe H contains amlodipine and hydrochlorothiazide. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that increases urine output to remove excess water and electrolytes, and over time also relaxes blood vessels.
