xcer 60mg Tablet is an antiplatelet medicine, also known as a blood thinner. It helps reduce the formation of harmful blood clots in blood vessels, thereby preventing heart attacks and strokes in people with heart disease.
It is also used in patients who have recently had a heart attack or severe chest pain (unstable angina) and have undergone stenting of the heart. This medicine helps prevent serious heart problems such as another heart attack, stroke, or clot formation in the stent.
Axcer 60mg Tablet is usually taken along with aspirin. It may be taken with or without food, but at the same time every day for best results. Continue taking it even if you feel well, as stopping suddenly can increase the risk of another heart attack or stroke.
Common side effects include breathlessness and bleeding. Bleeding from cuts or injuries may take longer to stop but usually resolves on its own. Mild breathlessness often improves with time. However, if you experience persistent bleeding or worsening breathlessness, inform your doctor.
Do not take Axcer 60mg Tablet if you have active bleeding (such as a stomach ulcer or brain bleed) or severe liver disease. Before starting, inform your doctor about any medical conditions or ongoing medications.
