Bioclar 250mg Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat various infections such as those of the respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, lungs, and skin. It is also effective against Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), a bacterium linked to peptic ulcer disease, and against certain infections like Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) seen in people with weakened immunity. It works by stopping bacterial growth, thereby curing the infection and relieving symptoms.
This medicine is taken orally, preferably one hour before or two hours after meals. Avoid taking antacids within two hours of using this medicine. Take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as prescribed and complete the full course even if you feel better to prevent the infection from returning.
Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, indigestion, abdominal pain, headache, vomiting, and rash. These are generally mild and resolve after treatment. Consult your doctor if they persist or worsen.
Before taking Bioclar 250mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you have allergies or heart problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before use.
