Cefozyt CV Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic formulated to effectively treat a wide range of bacterial infections affecting the throat, ears, sinuses, lungs, urinary tract, skin, and reproductive system. It is also useful in treating sexually transmitted infections such as gonorrhea and anorectal infections in women. This medicine combines two powerful components, Cefpodoxime and Clavulanic Acid, which work together to eliminate harmful bacteria and prevent antibiotic resistance. Cefpodoxime kills bacteria by inhibiting their protective cell wall formation, while Clavulanic Acid blocks enzymes that make bacteria resistant to antibiotics, ensuring better and faster recovery. Cefozyt CV Tablet helps relieve symptoms quickly, prevents the infection from spreading, and promotes faster healing when used as prescribed. It is usually taken with or without food, and the dosage and duration are determined by your doctor based on your condition. Common side effects may include mild diarrhea, nausea, stomach discomfort, headache, and yeast infections, which generally subside on their own. Avoid self-medication or skipping doses, as incomplete courses can lead to recurring infections or antibiotic resistance. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to antibiotics or if you have kidney or liver issues before starting treatment. Cefozyt CV Tablet should be used cautiously during pregnancy and is not recommended while breastfeeding, as small amounts may pass into breast milk. Avoid consuming alcohol during the course to minimize side effects, and be careful when driving, as it may cause dizziness. Store the tablets in a cool, dry place below 30°C and keep them away from direct sunlight and children’s reach. In case of overdose, seek immediate medical attention.
