Product Introduction
Cefozyt CV Tablet is a combination of Cefpodoxime and Clavulanic Acid used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections affecting the throat, ears, sinuses, lungs, urinary tract, skin, and reproductive system. It is also beneficial in certain sexually transmitted infections, including gonorrhea and anorectal infections in women.
Cefpodoxime works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell walls, leading to the death of bacteria, while Clavulanic Acid helps prevent bacterial resistance, making the treatment more effective. Together, they offer faster relief, prevent the spread of infection, and promote quicker recovery.
This medicine should be taken with or without food, exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip doses or stop treatment early, as this may lead to recurring infections or antibiotic resistance.
Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, stomach discomfort, headache, and yeast infections, which usually subside on their own. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen. Inform your healthcare provider if you have kidney, liver problems, or a history of antibiotic allergies.
Cefozyt CV Tablet should be used with caution during pregnancy and is not recommended during breastfeeding, as small amounts may pass into breast milk. Avoid alcohol to minimize stomach irritation, and do not drive if you experience dizziness.
Store the tablets in a cool, dry place below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and kept out of reach of children. Seek immediate medical help in case of overdose.
