Cilacar T Tablet is a combination medicine used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). It works by relaxing the blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood throughout the body. This medicine can be taken with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time every day as directed by your doctor. Some common side effects of Cilacar T Tablet include swelling in the ankles or feet, headache, dizziness, tiredness, sleepiness, upset stomach, changes in taste, and palpitations. Since it may cause dizziness or sleepiness, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how it affects you. If any side effect persists or worsens, inform your doctor.

Cilacar T Tablet contains two active ingredients, Cilnidipine and Telmisartan. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that helps relax blood vessels, while Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker that prevents blood vessels from tightening. Together, they work to improve blood flow and reduce the strain on the heart.

Alcohol should be avoided while taking this medicine as it may increase the risk of side effects like dizziness. It is not recommended during pregnancy due to potential harm to the developing baby, and caution is advised in patients with liver or kidney conditions.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
