Cosfen Vaginal Capsule is an antifungal preparation recommended for the treatment of vaginal fungal infections. The medicine acts by damaging the protective layer of fungal cells, which stops them from growing and eventually removes the infection. By targeting the fungi directly, it helps ease symptoms such as irritation, unusual discharge, itching, and burning.

This capsule is meant only for vaginal insertion and should not be taken by mouth. Your doctor will decide the right dose and the length of treatment. Many women are advised to use it at bedtime to allow better effectiveness. Before inserting the capsule, the vaginal area should be cleaned and dried, and hands should be washed properly. Even if your symptoms improve early, the complete course must be finished to make sure the infection does not come back.
