Cyclomune 0.1% Eye Drops 3 ml is an immunomodulator used to increase natural tear production in people with chronic dry eye disease that does not improve with artificial tears or lubricating eye drops. It is also indicated for the treatment of severe keratitis (inflammation of the cornea) associated with dryness or autoimmune eye conditions.

Dry eye occurs when the eyes cannot produce enough tears or when tears evaporate too quickly, leading to irritation, redness, and discomfort. Cyclomune 0.1% Eye Drops 3 ml helps restore moisture, reduce inflammation, and improve eye comfort.

Composition

• Cyclosporine – 0.1% w/v
• Benzalkonium Chloride – Preservative

How Cyclomune 0.1% Eye Drops 3 ml Works
Cyclosporine reduces inflammation in the eye, allowing tear-producing glands to recover and increase tear secretion. This helps relieve dryness, redness, and irritation. Benzalkonium chloride acts as a preservative, maintaining the sterility of the formulation. Together, they help in lubricating and protecting the eyes.

• Treatment of dry eye syndrome not relieved by artificial tears

Directions for Use

• For ophthalmic use only.
• Instil one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily, or as directed by your doctor.
• Wash hands before and after use.
• Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid, and place the drop in the eye.
• Close your eyes for 1–2 minutes after application.
• Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface to avoid contamination.
• Replace the cap tightly after use.

Side Effects
Common and usually mild:

• Eye irritation or burning sensation
• Blurred vision
• Redness of the eye
• Swelling of the eyelids

Precautions

• Do not use if you are allergic to Cyclosporine or Benzalkonium chloride.

Drug Interactions
Avoid combining with:

• Ciclosporin (systemic) – may increase drug concentration
• Cidofovir and Pitavastatin – may increase adverse effects
