Dabiclot 150 Capsule is used to prevent and treat the risk of stroke and heart attack in patients with atrial fibrillation (irregular heart rhythm) by reducing blood clot formation. It is also used to prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).

Stroke Prevention: Especially in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation.

Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT): Treats and prevents clots in the legs.

Pulmonary Embolism (PE): Prevents clots from traveling to the lungs.

Post-Surgical Clot Prevention: After hip or knee replacement surgery.

Recurrent Clot Prevention: Reduces risk of DVT/PE recurrence.

Directions for Use:

Can be taken with or without food.

Usually taken twice daily or as prescribed by your doctor.

How It Works:
Dabiclot 150 Capsule contains Dabigatran etexilate, which inhibits the production of clotting factor Xa (thrombin). This prevents fibrinogen (soluble protein) from converting to fibrin (insoluble protein), reducing blood clot formation and facilitating smooth blood flow, thereby lowering the risk of heart attack and stroke.
Storage:

Store at 10ºC to 25ºC or below 30ºC. 
Overdose:
Exceeding the recommended dose may increase the risk of serious bleeding. Seek immediate medical attention if an overdose is suspected.
Drug Warnings:

Do not stop the medicine on your own; discontinuation may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke.

Not recommended for children under 18 years.

Inform your doctor if you have an artificial heart valve, stomach ulcer, kidney/liver problems, high blood pressure, or bleeding disorders.

Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine as it may increase stomach bleeding risk.
