Indications / Uses:
EDBACT Capsule is an effective antibacterial medication used for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria. It is commonly prescribed for:

• Respiratory tract infections: Bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, tonsillitis

• Urinary tract infections: Cystitis, pyelonephritis

• Skin and soft tissue infections: Cellulitis, wound infections

• Gastrointestinal infections: Certain types of diarrhea or enteritis caused by bacteria

• Other bacterial infections as determined by a physician

Mechanism of Action:
EDBACT works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the destruction of bacteria. This prevents the growth and spread of infection, allowing the body’s immune system to eliminate the pathogens effectively.

Dosage and Administration:

• Adults: As prescribed by the physician, usually 1 capsule once or twice daily depending on the infection type and severity.

• Children: Dosage must be determined by a pediatrician based on body weight and infection type.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water.

• Can be taken with or without food.

• Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve early to avoid recurrence or antibiotic resistance.
