Extacef P 50mg Dry Syrup is an antibiotic used in children to treat various bacterial infections, including those affecting the ears, eyes, nose, throat, lungs, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. It is also effective for uncomplicated typhoid fever in children and adolescents.

Dosage and Administration
Best taken one hour before or two hours after meals for optimal absorption.
If stomach upset occurs, it can be given with food.
Follow the exact dose and schedule prescribed by the doctor, as it depends on the type and severity of infection.
If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the dose, repeat the same dose. Do not double the dose if it’s time for the next scheduled dose.
This medicine does not treat viral infections, such as common cold or flu, unless there is a secondary bacterial infection.
