Gramocef-OF Tablet
Gramocef-OF Tablet is an antibiotic combination used for treating a wide range of bacterial infections. It contains Cefixime and Ofloxacin, which work together to stop bacterial growth, prevent multiplication, and eliminate infection-causing bacteria. It is effective in infections affecting the ear, throat, sinuses, lungs, skin, urinary tract, and soft tissues.
It should be taken exactly as prescribed and at a fixed time daily. It may be taken with or without food. Completing the full course is important even if symptoms improve, as stopping early may lead to treatment failure or antibiotic resistance. Avoid taking more than the recommended dose.
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, upset stomach, and indigestion. Seek medical help if side effects worsen or if signs of allergy such as swelling, rash, or breathing difficulty occur.
Inform your doctor about any ongoing medications or medical conditions before starting this treatment. Avoid alcohol as it may increase dizziness or drowsiness. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take this medicine unless advised by a doctor. Rest, proper hydration, and a balanced diet support faster recovery.
