Gudcef DS 50mg Oral Drops – Overview
What it is:
An antibiotic medicine used in children to treat a wide range of bacterial infections affecting the ears, eyes, nose, throat, lungs, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. Also effective for typhoid fever.
How it works:
Prevents bacteria from forming their protective cell wall, killing infection-causing bacteria and stopping the infection from spreading.
Uses
Respiratory infections (pneumonia, throat, sinus)
Ear infections (otitis media)
Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Gastrointestinal infections (typhoid, diarrhea)
Skin and soft tissue infections
Other bacterial infections
Dosage & Administration
Give 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
Use the marked dropper to measure the dose.
If your child spits out the medicine within 30 mins, repeat the dose once. Do not double the dose.
With food if stomach upset occurs.
Complete the full course even if symptoms improve.
Missed dose: Give as soon as remembered, or skip if close to next scheduled dose.
