Kipnol TR 40 mg (1 × 10 tablets) is a prescription medicine whose active ingredient is propranolol (40 mg). It is part of the class of drugs known as beta-blockers.
Uses / Benefits
Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)
Management of chest pain due to heart conditions (angina)
Controlling abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias)
Preventing migraines
Treating tremors
Sometimes used for anxiety symptoms or overactive thyroid effects
How It Works
Propranolol blocks certain natural substances (like adrenaline) in the body which affect the heart and blood vessels. This leads to a slower heart rate, reduced force of heart contractions, and dilation (relaxation) of blood vessels. The combined effect is lower blood pressure, less strain on the heart, and fewer cardiac-related symptoms.
