Kofarest Syp 1*100Ml

Kofarest Syrup 1 × 100 ml is a combination medicine used to treat productive (wet) cough associated with bronchospasm and respiratory conditions.

Composition & Mechanism
Each 10 ml contains:

Terbutaline sulphate 2.5 mg

Ambroxol hydrochloride 30 mg

Guaifenesin 100 mg

Menthol 5 mg

Terbutaline acts as a bronchodilator, relaxing airway muscles. Ambroxol thins mucus (mucolytic). Guaifenesin helps loosen and expel mucus (expectorant). Menthol provides a soothing, cooling effect.

Indications / Uses

Relief of productive cough with mucus

Associated with conditions like bronchitis, bronchial asthma, chest congestion

Situations with wheezing, tightness in chest

Dosage & Administration

Adults: 10 ml twice daily (or as directed by physician)

Use a measuring cup or spoon for accuracy

Shake the bottle well before use

Contraindications & Precautions

Do not use if allergic to any component

Use cautiously in patients with cardiovascular disease, thyroid disorders, diabetes, uncontrolled hypertension

In patients with gastric ulceration, use carefully due to mucolytic effects

Avoid combining with other sympathomimetic bronchodilators
