Labecor 100mg Tablet is prescribed to manage high blood pressure and chest pain linked to heart conditions (angina). It is also useful in controlling hypertension during pregnancy. By reducing blood pressure, it lowers the risk of heart attack and stroke in the future.

The tablet is best taken with food and may be given on its own or together with other medicines, depending on your doctor’s advice. For effective results, it should be used along with a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and avoidance of smoking. This medicine should not be stopped suddenly as it may cause serious withdrawal effects.

Some people may notice side effects such as skin reactions, tingling on the scalp, erectile problems, difficulty in urination, fever, dizziness, abnormal liver test results, or rarely heart failure. Most of these are temporary, but medical advice is needed if they persist or worsen.

Labecor 100mg Tablet works by blocking both alpha and beta receptors. This action relaxes blood vessels and slows the heartbeat, which makes the heart pump more efficiently and improves blood circulation.

It should be used cautiously in people with liver disease. The medicine is not considered safe during breastfeeding and may also be risky in pregnancy unless clearly needed. Driving should be avoided if you feel dizzy, drowsy, or your vision is affected. Alcohol should not be consumed during treatment as it can worsen side effects.

If a dose is missed, take it when remembered unless it is close to the next scheduled dose, in which case the missed dose should be skipped. Never double up on doses.
