How Letroz Tablet works
Letroz Tablet is an aromatase inhibitor. It works by decreasing the amount of estrogen produced in the body. This reduction in estrogen can slow down or stop the growth of some breast cancers that need estrogen to grow.

  • Alcohol: Safe. Consuming alcohol with Letroz Tablet does not cause harmful side effects.

  • Pregnancy: Unsafe. Letroz Tablet should not be used during pregnancy as it can cause harmful effects to the developing baby.

  • Breastfeeding: Unsafe. Letroz Tablet may cause toxicity to the baby and should not be used while breastfeeding.

  • Driving: Unsafe. Letroz Tablet may reduce alertness, affect vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Avoid driving if these symptoms occur.

  • Kidney: Safe if prescribed. No dose adjustment is usually needed in patients with kidney disease, but limited data is available for end stage kidney disease. Consult your doctor.

  • Liver: Use with caution. Dose adjustment may be required in patients with liver disease. Consult your doctor.

What if you forget to take Letroz Tablet?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
