Levocet M Kid Tablet MD is prescribed for children to treat allergic symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, itching, swelling, and congestion. It can also help manage asthma and skin allergies.

Uses & Benefits:

• Treats allergic skin conditions with inflammation and itching

• Relieves sneezing, runny nose, and hay fever

• Reduces airway inflammation and nasal swelling, improving breathing and comfort

• Helps improve confidence and daily functioning by reducing visible allergic reactions

How It Works:
Contains Levocetirizine (blocks histamine, reducing sneezing and watery eyes) and Montelukast (blocks leukotrienes, reducing airway and nasal inflammation).

Dosage & Administration:

• Give at a fixed time, before or after food, as prescribed

• For asthma: preferably in the evening or 2 hours before activity

• For allergies: morning or evening based on symptom onset; if both, give in the evening

• If vomited within 30 minutes, repeat the dose; skip if next dose is due

Side Effects:
Most are mild and temporary:

• Headache, sleepiness, fatigue

• Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain

• Skin rash, fever, sore throat

• Dry mouth, diarrhea, upper respiratory infections

• Increased liver enzymes

Safety & Precautions:

• Use with caution in kidney disease; dose adjustment may be needed

• Safe for mild liver disease; consult doctor for severe liver issues

• Complete the full course; abrupt discontinuation may worsen symptoms

• Inform doctor about other medications and medical history

Missed Dose:

• Give the missed dose as soon as possible unless it’s almost time for the next dose

• Do not double the dose
