Metosartan CH 25 Tablet ER is a combination medicine used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It helps relax blood vessels, reduce the heart’s workload, and remove excess fluid from the body, making the heart pump more efficiently.
It contains Telmisartan, Metoprolol Succinate, and Chlorthalidone, which work together to control blood pressure and lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney problems.
Take this medicine at the same time every day, with or without food. It is best taken during the day or at least 4 hours before bedtime to avoid frequent urination at night. Continue taking it as prescribed and do not stop abruptly without consulting your doctor.
Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, upset stomach, dizziness, headache, slow heart rate, numbness, and low blood pressure. Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dry mouth and thirst. Regular monitoring of kidney function and electrolytes is recommended during treatment.
Avoid alcohol while using this medicine, as it can increase drowsiness and dizziness. Consult your doctor before use if you have kidney or liver disease, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are taking other medicines for heart or blood pressure conditions.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one — do not double the dose.
