This gel combines several active ingredients. Diclofenac and methyl salicylate work as pain relievers, linseed oil provides anti-inflammatory benefits, and menthol gives a soothing cooling effect. When applied, the gel first cools the skin and then produces a warming sensation, which helps interrupt pain signals in the nerves. Together, these actions reduce inflammation, redness, and swelling.

Muscoflex Gel should only be used on medical advice. It is meant strictly for external use on the skin. If it accidentally enters the eyes, mouth, or nose, rinse thoroughly with water. Apply it gently on the affected area using clean cotton or gauze. Do not exceed the recommended dose, as overuse can increase the risk of irritation. Possible side effects may include mild burning, itching, redness, dryness, or stinging at the application site. These usually resolve on their own, but if they persist, consult your doctor.

This gel is not suitable for children under two years of age. Caution is required when used in children between two and twelve years, especially those recovering from viral infections like flu or chickenpox, since the methyl salicylate content may trigger a rare but serious condition known as Reye’s Syndrome.

Do not use it on broken skin, nor combine it with heat pads or tight bandages. If contact occurs with sensitive areas such as the eyes or mouth, rinse immediately with water.

Precautions and Warnings
Before starting this gel, inform your doctor if you have a history of allergies to pain relievers such as ibuprofen, naproxen, or celecoxib. It should be avoided in people with asthma, stomach ulcers, intestinal bleeding, liver or kidney disease, heart conditions, or blood disorders. Elderly patients should use it with caution due to increased risk of kidney and gastrointestinal problems.
