Olkem 20H Tablet is a combination medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It combines two active ingredients to help relax blood vessels and remove excess fluid, thus lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney damage. You can take Olkem 20H Tablet with or without food; it’s best to take it at the same time each day. Continue taking it even if you feel well. Do not stop your treatment suddenly without consulting your doctor. The most common side effect is dizziness. Other possible side effects include weakness, tiredness, swelling (edema), chest pain, headache and increased uric acid levels. Avoid using Olkem 20H Tablet if you have asthma or serious heart conditions, and take special caution if you have liver or kidney disease. Avoid alcohol while on this medicine as it may lower your blood pressure further.

How to use Olkem 20H Tablet

How Olkem 20H Tablet works
The two medicines it contains are Olmesartan medoxomil, which relaxes and widens blood vessels, making it easier for blood to flow and reducing blood pressure, and Hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic which helps the kidneys remove excess water and salt from the body, thus reducing blood volume and lowering blood pressure.
