Olmark-H Tablet is a combination medication designed to help manage high blood pressure. By effectively reducing blood pressure, it helps lower the chances of serious health issues such as heart attacks, strokes, and kidney complications.

This medicine contains two active ingredients that work together in different ways to control blood pressure. It can be taken with or without meals, but it is best to take it at the same time every day to maintain consistent levels in the body. Since one of its components is a diuretic (commonly known as a water pill), it increases urine production. For this reason, it is recommended to avoid taking it too close to bedtime to prevent sleep disturbances. Even if you start feeling better, continue taking the medicine unless your doctor advises you to stop, as uncontrolled blood pressure can silently increase health risks.

The most commonly reported side effect of this medicine is dizziness. Other possible side effects may include fatigue, headache, weakness, swelling in the body, chest discomfort, or signs of fluid retention. Some people may experience changes in lab results, like elevated triglycerides, uric acid levels, or liver enzymes. If any side effects become severe or persistent, inform your doctor. In rare cases, this medication might cause an increase in eye pressure, which could damage vision if left untreated.

This medicine is generally not advised for use during pregnancy due to potential harm to the unborn baby. It should also be used carefully while breastfeeding, with medical guidance. People with liver or kidney conditions, diabetes, or heart issues must inform their doctor before starting this medicine. Avoid alcohol consumption, as it may intensify certain side effects such as dizziness or drowsiness.

Olmark-H Tablet contains two medicines: Olmesartan, which relaxes blood vessels to improve blood flow, and Hydrochlorothiazide, which helps reduce excess fluid in the body by increasing urine output. Together, they work to lower and maintain healthy blood pressure levels, ultimately reducing the risk of long-term complications like heart disease or kidney problems.

To use this medicine effectively, swallow the tablet whole with water without breaking or chewing it. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If you miss a dose, take it when you remember unless it’s nearly time for your next scheduled dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular routine. Never take two doses at once.

Driving or operating heavy machinery should be avoided if you feel dizzy, tired, or have blurred vision after taking this medicine. Regular check-ups and blood pressure monitoring are important to ensure the medicine is working correctly and to adjust the dose if needed.
