Peroduo Gel – Overview

Peroduo Gel is a dermatologist-prescribed topical treatment formulated to manage acne effectively. It combines two active ingredients that work together to unclog pores, reduce excess oil, and fight acne-causing bacteria. This dual-action approach helps clear up existing breakouts and prevents new ones from forming.

This gel is meant for external use only and should be used exactly as instructed by your healthcare provider. Before application, cleanse and dry the affected area thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of the gel to the skin, typically once daily, preferably in the evening or as advised. Avoid applying it to broken or irritated skin, and keep it away from sensitive areas like the eyes, mouth, and inside the nose.

The formula includes Adapalene, a vitamin A derivative that promotes skin cell turnover and helps exfoliate the skin’s surface, and Benzoyl Peroxide, which penetrates deep into pores to kill bacteria and reduce inflammation. Together, they help improve skin texture and clarity.

Common side effects may include mild burning, redness, itching, or dryness at the site of application. These effects are generally temporary and decrease as the skin builds tolerance. If symptoms persist or become uncomfortable, consult your doctor for advice.

Before starting treatment, it is important to inform your doctor about any allergies, existing skin conditions, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The product may cause increased skin sensitivity to sunlight, so use sunscreen and limit sun exposure during treatment.

If a dose is missed, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it’s almost time for your next application, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Do not apply extra gel to make up for a missed dose.
