Rabonik 20 Tablet is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce stomach acid. It treats:

Acidity

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD/acid reflux)

Peptic ulcer disease 
- 
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome 
How It Works
- 
Reduces stomach acid, relieving heartburn, indigestion, and abdominal pain. 
- 
Promotes healing of peptic ulcers and prevents complications from excessive acid secretion. 
Dosage & Administration
- 
Take one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning. 
- 
Swallow whole; do not chew, crush, or break. 
- 
Take regularly as prescribed, even if symptoms improve. 
Common Side Effects
- 
Headache, nausea, vomiting 
- 
Abdominal pain, flatulence, diarrhea 
- 
Dizziness, weakness 
Serious Risks (Long-Term Use)
- 
Risk of bone fractures with prolonged use (>1 year) 
- 
Low magnesium levels (hypomagnesemia) may occur after 3+ months 
Precautions
- 
Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease, are taking HIV medicines, or have bone loss (osteoporosis) 
- 
Avoid alcohol as it may worsen symptoms 
- 
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without doctor supervision 
- 
May cause drowsiness or dizziness; avoid driving if affected 
Missed Dose
- 
Take as soon as possible if missed 
-
