Repace AF Tablet is a combination of Losartan (an angiotensin receptor blocker) and Amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker) used for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). It helps relax blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood efficiently, which in turn lowers blood pressure and reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.
It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Do not stop taking it suddenly, even if you feel well, as this may increase your risk of heart problems. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle—such as eating a low-salt, low-fat diet, exercising regularly, and avoiding smoking—can enhance its effectiveness.
Common Side Effects:

- Swelling in ankles or feet (edema)
- Headache
- Flushing or warmth in face and neck
- Fatigue or weakness
- Nausea or abdominal pain

Safety Advice:
- Alcohol: Avoid alcohol; it can worsen dizziness or low blood pressure.

- Breastfeeding: Likely safe if prescribed; consult your doctor.
- Driving: Avoid driving if you feel dizzy, tired, or have blurred vision.
- Kidney Disease: Usually safe; no dose adjustment needed.

Missed Dose:
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it’s almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed one—do not double the dose.
How It Works:
- Losartan relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of angiotensin II.
- Amlodipine relaxes and widens arteries by preventing calcium buildup in vessel walls.
Together, they effectively lower blood pressure and improve blood circulation.
