Revas-H Tablet

Revas-H Tablet is a combination of two medications: Losartan 50 mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg. Losartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that helps relax blood vessels, while Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (water pill) that helps reduce excess fluid in the body. Together, they work to lower high blood pressure and reduce the risk of stroke and heart-related issues.

Uses

• High Blood Pressure (Hypertension): Lowers blood pressure to reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

• Heart Failure: Improves heart function and reduces symptoms like fatigue and shortness of breath.

• Diabetic Nephropathy: Protects kidney function in people with diabetes and high blood pressure.

How it works

• Losartan: Blocks the action of a substance that narrows blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily.

• Hydrochlorothiazide: Increases urine output, helping to lower blood pressure by reducing excess salt and water in the body.

How to take

• Take once daily, with or without food.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Take at the same time each day for best results.

Missed dose
