Rivaflo 15 mg Tablet (10 Tab)

Rivaflo 15 Tablet is an anticoagulant (blood thinner) used to prevent and treat blood clots and reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack. It helps prevent clot formation in the veins of the legs, lungs, brain, and heart by blocking a clotting factor called Factor Xa, ensuring smooth blood flow throughout the body.

It is prescribed for patients with irregular heart rhythm (atrial fibrillation) and for the prevention of blood clots after knee or hip replacement surgeries. The tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time every day. Continue taking it as advised by your doctor, as stopping suddenly can increase the risk of clot formation.

The most common side effect is increased bleeding, such as bruising or nosebleeds. Caution is advised in patients with kidney disease, and it should be avoided in severe liver disorders. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use. Alcohol consumption should be limited, and activities requiring alertness should be avoided if dizziness or fainting occurs.

If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible or skip it if it’s nearly time for the next one. Do not double the dose.
