Ropark XL 1 Tablet is used to treat Parkinson’s disease and restless leg syndrome (RLS), conditions linked to low dopamine activity in the brain. It helps improve movement control, reduce tremors, and relieve the urge to move the legs caused by discomfort or restlessness.
The medicine should be taken orally, preferably with food to minimize nausea, at the same time every day to maintain stable drug levels. Take it exactly as prescribed and avoid stopping it suddenly, as this may cause harmful withdrawal effects.
Common side effects include dizziness, sleepiness, headache, nausea, vomiting, confusion, hallucinations, swelling, and indigestion. It may cause a sudden drop in blood pressure when changing positions, so rise slowly from sitting or lying down. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
Ropark XL 1 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver or kidney disease. It may be unsafe during breastfeeding and should only be used during pregnancy if prescribed by a doctor.
If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. Skip it if it’s almost time for your next scheduled dose—do not double up to make up for the missed dose.
