Description

Rozucor 20 Tablet is a cholesterol-lowering medicine that contains Rosuvastatin 20 mg. It belongs to a group of medicines called statins. This tablet works by reducing the levels of harmful cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides in the blood, while increasing the levels of good cholesterol (HDL). By keeping cholesterol under control, it helps prevent hardening of the arteries, lowers the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular diseases.

Doctors usually prescribe Rozucor 20 Tablet to people who have very high cholesterol, or to those who are at high risk of heart-related complications. It is most effective when taken along with lifestyle changes such as a low-fat diet, regular exercise, weight control, quitting smoking, and avoiding alcohol.

Some people may experience side effects such as headache, stomach pain, constipation, nausea, muscle pain, tiredness, or dizziness. These are usually mild and temporary. In rare cases, it can affect the liver or muscles, so regular medical check-ups and blood tests may be advised during treatment.
