Safdox CV Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections in the respiratory tract, urinary tract, ear, skin, and soft tissues. It combines two active ingredients that work together to destroy harmful bacteria and prevent the spread of infection.

How It Works

Safdox CV Tablet contains Cefpodoxime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects Cefpodoxime from bacterial enzymes that can make it ineffective. Together, they provide stronger and broader antibacterial action.

Dosage and Administration

Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably after food to reduce stomach irritation. Complete the full course even if you start feeling better, as stopping early may cause the infection to return.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose.

Overdose

Seek immediate medical attention if an overdose is suspected. Symptoms may include severe nausea, vomiting, or convulsions.
