SALBAIR INHELAR

Salbair Inhaler is a fast-acting bronchodilator used to relieve symptoms of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other respiratory conditions. It helps open the airways, making breathing easier and reducing wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness.

Composition

• Salbutamol Sulfate 100 mcg per actuation

How It Works

Salbair Inhaler contains Salbutamol, a beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist. It works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the airways, which helps open the bronchial passages and improves airflow to the lungs. The effect is rapid, providing quick relief from acute breathing difficulties.

Dosage and Administration

• Shake the inhaler well before use

• Inhale 1–2 puffs as prescribed by the doctor

• Hold your breath for a few seconds after inhalation for maximum effect

• Wait at least 4–6 hours between doses unless directed otherwise by your doctor

• Clean the mouthpiece regularly to prevent blockage

Common Side Effects

• Tremors or shaking of hands

• Nervousness or anxiety

• Headache

• Palpitations or increased heart rate

• Throat irritation or cough

• Rarely, dizziness

Precautions and Warnings

• Do not exceed the recommended dose

• Use caution in patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, or thyroid disorders

• Inform your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding before using

• Not intended for relief of severe asthma attacks; use emergency medication in such cases

• Keep a record of inhaler use to avoid overuse

Storage Instructions

Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C. Protect from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Missed Dose

Use the inhaler as needed for breathing difficulties. If you forget a scheduled preventive dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is near the next scheduled dose. Do not double the dose.

Overdose

Seek immediate medical attention in case of overdose. Symptoms may include rapid heartbeat, severe tremors, headache, or high blood pressure.
