Seloken XL 25 mg Tablet works by slowing the heart rate and reducing the force of heart contractions.
This helps lower blood pressure, decreases oxygen demand of the heart, and improves overall heart efficiency.
How to Take:
Take this medicine once daily, preferably at the same time each day.
Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew, crush, or break it.
It can be taken with or without food, but take it consistently in the same manner.
Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without your doctor’s advice.
Common Side Effects:
Dizziness or light-headedness
Tiredness or fatigue
Headache
Slow heart rate
Nausea or stomach upset
Cold hands or feet
Shortness of breath in some cases
Warnings / Precautions:
Not recommended for patients with very low heart rate, heart block, uncontrolled heart failure, or severe circulation problems.
Use cautiously in people with asthma, COPD, liver or kidney disorders, or thyroid problems.
Avoid sudden withdrawal; your doctor may gradually reduce the dose.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use only on medical advice.
Avoid alcohol as it may enhance dizziness or lower blood pressure.
Missed Dose:
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember.
If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one.
Do not double the dose to make up for a missed tablet.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C.
Keep away from light and moisture.
Keep out of reach of children.
