Similac Plus Stage 3 Follow-Up Formula is a spray-dried milk substitute formulated for toddlers aged 12 to 24 months. It supports overall physical and mental development during the weaning phase. This formula provides essential nutrients including Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMO), nucleotides, DHA, Lutein, Natural Vitamin E, Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, Arachidonic Acid (AA), and key minerals such as choline, iron, taurine, iodine, folic acid, and zinc. These components work together to support the immune system, brain function, and vision development in growing toddlers.
It includes core ingredients such as whole milk powder, lactose, maltodextrin, edible vegetable oils (soy oil, high oleic sunflower oil, coconut oil), whey protein concentrate, taurine, potassium citrate, L-carnitine, and antioxidants like mixed tocopherols. When prepared, the formula delivers balanced macronutrients and micronutrients including monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, sugar, vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, D2, E, K, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, folic acid, and minerals like sodium, potassium chloride, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc, manganese, copper, iodine, selenium, and molybdenum.
The formula is designed to help reduce the risk of infections and support overall immunity with its dual immune blend of HMO and nucleotides. The combination of DHA, Lutein, and Natural Vitamin E further enhances brain development and visual function, making it a comprehensive nutritional choice for toddlers transitioning to solid foods.
To prepare the feed, use one level scoop (approximately 5.1 g) of powder per 30 ml of boiled and cooled water. For larger quantities, 151 g of powder can be mixed with enough water to make 1 litre of formula. Stir or shake until the powder is fully dissolved. Always consult a pediatrician to determine the appropriate daily intake for your child.
For safe use, always prepare feeds with proper hygiene. Do not use more or fewer scoops than recommended, as incorrect dilution may lead to nutritional imbalances. Avoid using a microwave for preparation or heating, as it may cause uneven heating and serious burns. Prepared formula should be stored in a refrigerator at 2°C to 4°C and used within 24 hours. Discard any leftover feed to avoid contamination.
This formula contains milk and soy ingredients and is not suitable for children allergic to these components. Breast milk remains the most complete and natural source of nutrition for infants, and any substitute should be used only under the advice of a healthcare professional.
