About Sita OD Met 50/500 mg Tablet

Sita OD Met 50/500 mg Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. This condition develops when the body does not produce enough insulin, when insulin does not work effectively, or when the body produces excess glucagon.

This tablet combines:

Sitagliptin (DPP-4 inhibitor): Increases insulin release and decreases glucagon levels.

Metformin (biguanide): Improves insulin sensitivity, reduces glucose production in the liver, and slows down sugar absorption from the stomach.

Together, they help in controlling blood glucose levels, especially after meals, and reduce the risk of long-term diabetes complications.
