Soha Eye Drop

Soha Eye Drop is an eye lubricant designed to relieve the discomfort caused by dryness. It works by keeping the eyes moist, easing burning sensations, irritation, and redness. The soothing layer it forms on the eye surface also helps protect the cornea and supports healing in cases such as corneal burns.

The drops can be used whenever required or as directed by a doctor. To ensure effectiveness, if other eye medicines are prescribed, a gap of at least five to ten minutes should be kept before applying them. The solution should not be used if the bottle’s seal is broken, if the liquid has changed in color, or if it appears cloudy.

Some people may feel temporary effects like blurred vision, watery eyes, redness, mild irritation, or sensitivity to light. These usually fade on their own, but medical advice should be sought if they continue or worsen.

Good hygiene is important while applying the drops—hands must be washed properly and the tip of the dropper should not touch the eye or any surface to avoid contamination. This medicine is meant only for external use. The required number of drops should be instilled inside the lower eyelid, after which any extra liquid can be gently wiped away. It works by forming a thin protective shield on the eye’s surface that locks in moisture, reduces friction, and prevents further irritation from environmental factors like dust, wind, or screen use.

No specific interactions with alcohol, liver, or kidney conditions are known. During pregnancy or breastfeeding, use should only be done on a doctor’s advice. The impact of these drops on driving is not clearly established, so one should avoid driving if vision feels blurred or concentration is affected.

If a dose is forgotten, it can be applied as soon as remembered, unless it is nearly time for the next scheduled dose—in that case, the missed dose should be skipped, and the regular routine continued without using extra drops.
