Introduction:
Sufrate O Suspension is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal ulcers, hyperacidity, heartburn, indigestion, and gastritis. It works by protecting the stomach lining from excessive acid and promoting healing of ulcers while providing relief from associated pain and discomfort.

Composition:

Sucralfate: A gastrointestinal protectant that forms a protective barrier over the ulcer, shielding it from digestive enzymes, acid, and bile salts. It promotes healing and stimulates the formation of new healthy tissue.

Oxetacaine: A local anesthetic that provides a numbing effect, offering relief from pain due to ulcers or acid-related injury in the stomach.

Uses:

Peptic Ulcer Treatment: Protects the ulcer, promotes healing, and reduces pain.

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Coats and protects the esophagus and stomach lining to reduce burning sensations.

Protection Against Stomach Irritation: Prevents damage from NSAIDs or other medications.
