Introduction

Telista-D Tablet SR is a combination medicine used in the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels, and Metoprolol (in sustained-release form), a beta-blocker that lowers heart rate and reduces the heart’s workload. Together, these medicines help control blood pressure, improve blood circulation, and reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications.

What to Avoid

• Avoid alcohol, as it can increase dizziness and lower blood pressure further

Precautions

• Inform your doctor if you have asthma, COPD, diabetes, thyroid disorders, or liver/kidney disease

• Patients with very low heart rate or heart block should avoid use unless specifically prescribed
