Product Introduction

Tofe-ER Tablet is prescribed for the management of moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and ulcerative colitis. By reducing inflammation, it helps ease joint pain, tenderness, and swelling, while also slowing down damage to bones and joints.

The medicine may be given alone or in combination with other treatments. It can be taken with or without meals, ideally at the same time every day. Dosage depends on your health condition and any other medicines you are using. Always follow your doctor’s advice and do not stop treatment without medical guidance, as symptoms may worsen.

Common Side Effects

Some people may experience mild side effects such as headache, diarrhea, throat and nasal inflammation (nasopharyngitis), or upper respiratory infections. In rare cases, more serious effects like blood clots or intestinal wall problems may occur and require immediate medical attention.

Precautions

Before starting treatment, blood tests may be needed. Do not begin the medicine if you currently have an infection. Inform your doctor if you have ever had tuberculosis, shingles, liver or kidney issues, hepatitis B or C, or a history of blood clots. This medicine can increase your risk of infections, so avoid contact with people who may have contagious illnesses such as measles, flu, or chickenpox. It is not suitable for children under 18. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding should only be considered if the potential benefit outweighs the risks.

Missed Dose

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed one—do not take two doses together.
